About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage the delivery of a large-scale Substation project in Zaragoza. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on-site construction activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring that all project milestones are achieved safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day construction operations on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules. - Oversee subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to maintain productivity and quality standards. - Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Monitor progress, manage project risks, and report regularly to senior project management. - Coordinate with design, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues efficiently. - Manage site documentation, permits, and inspections. - Drive best practices in quality assurance, cost control, and construction efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager on large-scale industrial, data center, power, or substation projects. - Strong understanding of substation construction methodologies, project controls, and safety compliance. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken). - Ability to work collaboratively with multinational teams and diverse stakeholders.
