The program serves as a stepping stone to bigger and better career opportunities within Saica, such as the role of
Graduate Expert Electric Maintenance. Responsibilities include:
Working as an Electrical Engineer in the electrical/control maintenance department at a paper mill, with regard to safety, environment, and quality.
Developing deep knowledge and driving continuous improvement by proposing alternatives to enhance electrical system efficiency, including:
Electrical motors for HV and LV up to 1.5 MW & stand-alone speed inverters.
Paper Machine Drive sectional drive and rewinder:
rectifiers, frequency converters, and special AC motors.
Machine automation (hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric positioning and movements, PLC-based).
Defining and following up on all maintenance activities for electrical equipment, including corrective, preventive, and predictive routines, shutdown planning, spare parts testing, and managing contractors.
Assisting and supporting operation engineers in managing the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the paper mill.
Developing an annual investment plan.
Requirements:
Academic Qualification:
Recent graduates in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Desirable:
training or final year project in Power Electronics.
Experience with PLC-based positioning systems (e.G., Siemens S7) and speed inverters for AC motors.
Training or professional experience abroad (minimum 8 months).
Maximum of two years of work experience since graduation.
International experience (e.G., Erasmus) is a plus.
Proficiency in written and spoken English (B2 level).
