As the Procurement Category Manager for Wind TCI and Construction, you will be responsible for key strategic procurement activities for new projects on international projects, including in-land transportation, crane services, installation works and OM services. The Procurement Category Manager must coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during the procurement phase in order to plan and deliver accurate and cost-effective solutions, enabling Envision to be competitive, whilst also being in a position to deliver projects successfully across the European Region. /ppbr/ppbKey responsibilities: /b /ppbr/ppbGeneral /b /pulliDeveloping sound, cost-effective category strategies for project procurement and strategic procurement, and ensure timely delivery of procurement budgets, enabling Envision to be competitive in terms of the subcontract portfolio, whilst also being in a position to deliver the project successfully /liliCoordination and liaison with other internal departments as part of the procurement process, including sales and project management /liliGuarantee the quality and accuracy of the procurement scope /liliEnsure the correct identification, assessment and quantification of all the potential subcontractor and suppliers related to the procurement scope /liliFacilitates the correct handover to project execution team for the management of the procured scope /liliDeployment of Envision ERP tools (Ariba SAP) and processes which enable the P2P process /li /ulpbr/ppbSales Support /b /pulliDevelop relationships with suppliers and contractors with interests in Envision sales markets /liliFacilitate contract or consortium agreement negotiation and scope clarification with suppliers and contractors /liliDevelop with the support of technical team, standard interface documents for contracts /li /ulpbr/ppbSupplier Development /b /pulliContinuously develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors, identifying best local market opportunities within your assigned countries. /liliEnsure contracts and terms, with support from Envision’s legal department, are favourable and fit for purpose /liliConduct supplier reviews on completion of contracts /li /ulpbr/ppbMarket Analysis /b /pulliMonitoring and communicating with management regarding the supplier market /liliConducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement /liliDeveloping risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of market changes /liliWorking closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favourable /li /ulpbr/ppbProject Procurement /b /pulliPrepare procurement management plans as required /liliEnsure accuracy of tender documentation and tenders /liliConduct reviews and prepare analysis for awarding decisions /liliAct as escalation point during project execution in case required /li /ulpbr/ppbQualification and expertise: /b /pulliDegree in relevant engineering or commerce qualification /lili5 to 10 years of experience in procurement and project management, preferably TCI category and renewable energy plan construction. /liliKnowledge in project management methods and techniques, commercial management and supply management /liliExperience on procurement of EPC/BOP/Logistics in renewable industry is preferred /liliExcellent IT skills including MS Office/Sharepoint and SAP Ariba. /liliExcellent communication skills in English is essential, both verbally and written. /li /ul
