About The Worldfolio The Worldfolio is a media and advertising agency specialized in producing business and industrial reports in partnership with globally recognized media outlets. We interview business leaders, executives, and government officials to create editorial and content-driven advertising campaigns.
Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to lead our Finance Department on a part-time basis.
The role combines daily accounting tasks with gradual improvements to our financial workflows and systems.
You will manage core finance operations (invoicing, payments, reconciliations) while helping introduce more efficient digital tools and processes. This is a hands-on operational position suited for someone independent, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic SME environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational finance (primary focus):
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Execute supplier and partner payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Support monthly closing and preparation of financial statements (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow).
Digital process improvements (progressive / part-time scope):
- Help standardize and digitize finance workflows across finance, sales and production
- Maintain and improve dashboards for financial tracking.
- Assist with the on implementation of XERO as our main fiancail tool .
Coordination / Reporting
- Liaise with external accountants and service providers.
- Prepare simple financial reports for management review.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance support roles.
- Proficiency with accounting and productivity software (QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo, Excel or other ERPs).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a remote, multicultural environment.
- Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
