About the Role
You will not just query numbers, you will ensure that data across acquisition, product usage, and behavioral logs is trustworthy, accessible, and actionable for the entire growth team. Your mission is to turn raw product and acquisition data into clear growth decisions, shaping how we experiment, measure success, and iterate at speed. You’ll collaborate closely with the Product Growth Manager, the Head of Growth, and the engineering team to build an experimentation-heavy culture that is 100% data-driven.
Responsibilities
Data Infrastructure & OwnershipOwn and evolve the data architecture across SQL, Node.Js backend processes, and BetterStack monitoring logs.Establish a cross-system event dictionary to standardize product and logging events.Identify and close tracking gaps (e.G., login events, template interactions, secondary features not currently tracked).Ensure data consistency between SQL product data and BetterStack logs.
Acquisition & Product DataMaintain the SQL database as the single source of truth for acquisition and product metrics.Build and optimize dashboards and reporting pipelines via Node.Js backend processes.Track acquisition channels and connect them with downstream product behavior to calculate true CAC-to-LTV performance.
Event Tracking & ExperimentationDesign and implement a scalable event tracking framework for all core and secondary features.Collaborate with the Product Growth Manager to set up and analyze A/B tests for onboarding, activation, retention, and monetization.Define leading indicators for feature adoption and retention to shorten experimentation cycles.
Retention & Cohort AnalysisBuild advanced retention cohorts in SQL based on timestamps and behavioral usage.Work with product and AI teams to design predictive retention models that inform personalized nudges.Develop segmentation frameworks to identify high-value cohorts vs. churn-prone cohorts.
Recommendation & Personalization SystemsSupport the foundation of recommendation models by structuring clean event data.Collaborate with AI engineers to enable semantic AI-based personalization of reminders, lists, and Memory Deck usage.
Accessibility & Cross-Team EnablementMake sure data is accessible for non-technical teams (Growth, Product, Leadership).Build data documentation and train colleagues to use dashboards effectively.Act as the bridge between data and decisions, ensuring insights are actionable and aligned with growth goals.

QualificationsBased in Andorra (employment contract) OR willing to work as a contractor/self-employed in Spain or country of residence.Near-native English (C2).
Required Skills4+ years of experience in data analytics for SaaS or consumer products.Advanced SQL expertise:
cohort analysis, funnel analysis, retention models.Experience integrating data from multiple systems (SQL, Node.Js processes, external log monitoring).Proven track record of supporting product-led growth experiments.Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.G., Winston, BetterStack).Solid understanding of product analytics stacks (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, GA4).Strong knowledge of growth KPIs and how to measure/optimize them.
Preferred Skills(Nice to have) Experience with recommendation/personalization systems or semantic AI data models.
