About the job
Within Chubb Operations Hub for Continental Europe, based in Madrid, you will act as an Operations Technician for our Iberian branches. Your role involves maintaining high standards of quality, service delivery, and accuracy by reviewing instructions from the Iberia Underwriting team or brokers, accurately entering premium bookings, and preparing policy documentation.
You will provide technical and administrative support for managing the Online SME portfolio across various lines of business including Financial Lines, Casualty, Cyber, and Marine, with potential extension to other lines.
Support the standardized use of Ignite / ICT systems to deliver seamless, high-quality service to customers.
Assist the Operations Manager as Process Owner for all processing activities, acting as Subject Matter Expert for both retained and outsourced work. Flexibility is essential to support high-quality service delivery and outsourcing processes.
Key responsibilities :
1. Manage user system maintenance within SLAs, including setting up new access, amendments, and removals.
2. Oversee system setup for new products, including policy documentation and invoice production, ensuring standards are met.
3. Maintain relevant systems managing products, including templates, product and code mappings, and interface linkage with back-end systems.
4. Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency, error-proofing, automation, and clarity.
5. Manage Broker Network setup and maintenance, including Broker Novations, granting and removing access, and providing support.
6. Respond to all Broker correspondence within SLA.
7. Handle manual processing of system fall-outs within SLA.
8. Review system data for inconsistencies to maintain quality, using platforms like WorkView, Gennext, Genius.
9. Maintain current knowledge of SME products managed on Ignite / ICT.
10. Develop understanding of all relevant lines of business for accurate processing of both retained and outsourced work.
11. Monitor outsourced work, identify issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
12. Produce SOX reports, including outsourced processed business, for team sign-off.
13. Conduct audits and Quality Control checks on work elements, ensuring high standards.
14. Perform quality checks on booking requests before forwarding to third-party providers.
15. Investigate and resolve credit control queries within SLA.

Qualifications
Language and Experience :
* Native or bilingual in French.
* Advanced business-level English; high proficiency in Dutch is preferred.
* Experience in processing roles, especially following written instructions, data entry, and report drafting related to the policy cycle.
* Previous experience in Commercial Insurance is preferred.
