Job Description: Sales Director

The Sales Director manages sales through the supervision of the Account Executive team, with the goal of generating net new sales through prospecting, networking, and executing marketing initiatives. The focus is on increasing our footprint within the Financial Industry, leading to revenue growth and quota attainment in Top Banks and Insurance Companies.
The role involves leading and supporting Account Executives to achieve sales targets, proactively managing sales in named Iron Mountain Global Accounts alongside Managing Directors (MDs), and increasing client spend through account planning, opportunity identification, upsell execution, deal closing, and issue resolution.
The Director will be part of the Global Industries sales leadership team, working to ensure the achievement of sales growth plans.
Responsibilities include driving cross-functional collaboration with teams focused on Digital, ALM, and Record Management Sales and Operations.
Key duties include meeting sales goals, motivating teams, evaluating sales representatives' abilities, providing coaching and training, assisting in selling, analyzing account profitability, and developing tailored sales strategies for potential clients.
Maintain and enhance the sales infrastructure, including reporting systems (SFDC), proposal generation, and communication. Support the sales team in preparing proposals, pricing, and terms, and manage recruitment, retention, and management of the sales force.
Stay informed about the company's products, services, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with operational leadership to align market strategies across Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.
Qualifications include a proven track record and executive relationships with Global Strategic Accounts (preferably in Financial Services), strong sales skills in a service industry, experience in people management, and formal sales training. A minimum of 5 years in sales management and 3 years in a service industry sales role are required.
Additionally, the candidate should be experienced in representing sales to senior leadership (TVP, SVP, RSMs), have exposure to senior leaders internally and externally, possess strong business acumen, and demonstrate professionalism, assertiveness, creativity, and organizational skills.
