As Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a central role in the further technical development and maintenance of a critical, AWS-Cloud-based Analytics platform within our Healthcare business. Working together with a wide variety of stakeholders including end-users, agile product owners, architects and software engineers, your expertise will drive the robustness, efficiency & continuous improvement of this critical platform contributing to the overall success of our R&D efforts in the discovery and development of new drugs. As part of Data & AI Solution team, you will also contribute to the development of other D&A products as needed.Since the platform scope will evolve over time, you will contribute to the future technical roadmap as well as system architecture. Your expertise will also extend to the implementation and management of infrastructure as code (IaC), harnessing the capabilities of tools like AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes and Airflow as well as standard AWS technology stack. Besides, you will play an integral role in refining data pipelines and enhancing analytics workflows, thereby increasing the reliability and efficiency of data processing. Strong adherence to security best practices will be expected, as you will oversee network configurations and IAM policies, ensuring the protection and integrity of our data and services. You will join a multicultural, multi-location team working in agile methodologies and having high autonomy in decision-making. The role is hybrid / home office.
