In this role you lead the delivery of all physical assets for a multi-year civil, marine, and equipment upgrade program at Barcelona Port, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and safety. You will coordinate with construction contractors, vendors, and internal teams to achieve testing, commissioning, and handover. The position focuses on integrating the new assets into a live, 24/7 port environment, driving safety and quality throughout delivery. You will work in a multinational setting that values continuous improvement and Lean principles, shaping how assets enable operational efficiency and sustainability. Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Lead the execution and delivery of all physical assets within scope (marine structures, civil works, buildings, equipment)
- Manage construction contractors, suppliers, and technical partners with focus on quality, safety, and progress
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Terminal Ops, and Asset Management for testing, commissioning, and handover
- Oversee design interfaces, constructability reviews, and progress control per APM Terminals standards
- Implement project controls, monitor baselines, assess delays, manage changes, mitigate risks
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders; ensure timely reporting and issue escalation
- Promote safety by integrating HSSE standards into design and on-site leadership
- Implement project controls framework in partnership with Project Controls Manager
- Ensure all regulatory permits are secured in line with timelines Responsabilidades
- 10+ years in construction/project environments on large-scale infrastructure
- Proven success delivering civil/structural works and equipment
- Experience as Head of Asset Delivery / Construction Manager or similar leadership role
- Advanced project management certification (APM PMQ, PMI PMP or equivalent)
- Strong xqbhyrx technical knowledge: design, construction management, procurement, commissioning
- Fluency in Spanish & English; strong communication and leadership
- Experience coaching teams; strong safety, governance, stakeholder management
- Continuous improvement mindset; curious and problem-solving
