La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel, is recruiting a **Barman**to join the team in Deia, a small village in the UNESCO protected Serra de Tramuntana in the West of the island of Mallorca, Spain. Join us and help us in working towards our ambition to become the best hotel in Spain..**Primary Responsibilities Include**- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.- Know and recommend drinks based on customer taste and preferences.- Interact with customers and take their orders.- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude, even during high-pressure moments.- Prepare customised cocktails and drinks for clients on request.- Ensure and maintain the quality of ingredients and drinks used.- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including the cleanliness of barware.- Maintain inventory control of drinks, supplies and barware.- Work with other members of the hotel team to ensure a positive customer experience.- Respond to and satisfy customer requests and needs.- Create and update drink and cocktail menus.- Mix and prepare drinks according to appropriate recipes and techniques.- Ensure that customers comply with responsible drinking policies.- Create new cocktails and drinks.**Requirements**:- Previous experience as a barman or bartender.- Knowledge of mixology and bartending.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- Organisational and time management skills.- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.**Benefits****What We Offer**:At La Residencia we pride ourselves on fostering a culture built on kindness, active listening, and genuine connections with our colleagues and guests.
