NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Advisory Support on Climate Adaptation, Resilience and Nature-based Solutions in Environmental Sectors. We are searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The overall objective of this assignment is to accelerate environmental investments, such as climate adaptation, resilience, and nature-based investments, by providing targeted technical and financial advisory support to public promoters within the EU.
Duration: The intended start date is June / July 2025, with a contract period of 24 months from this date.
Qualifications and Skills:
* University Degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in economics, environmental economics, socioeconomics, sustainable development, sociology, or an equivalent field relevant to the assignment.
* Excellent written and spoken English (CEFR C1) or equivalent.
* Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in research, consulting, civil society, finance/investment, or project/infrastructure development.
* At least 7 years of experience advising public authorities, civil society, utility companies, ports, or other enterprises with a public sector mission, project developers, fund managers, government agencies, or financial institutions on funding or financing infrastructure, sustainability, or ecosystem-related projects.
* Experience in performing cost-benefit analyses of water, environment, climate, or sustainability projects, demonstrated by at least 5 projects.
* Experience in designing, managing, or implementing participatory/stakeholder engagement is considered an advantage.
* Experience with valuation of ecosystem services is considered an advantage.
