We are looking for a Laboratory Technician that will be passionate about assist in paint system designs, resolution of problems and application and/or testing of products we offer our global clients.
You will have the unique opportunity to report directly to our R&D Manager - PFP Development, be based on our office in Spain - Santa Perpetua de Mogoda and cooperate with other colleagues from all over the world.

What you can look forward to in this Role :
* Support scientists in research and development projects in the area Passive Fire Protection coatings
* Prepare experimental paints and test specimens
* Evaluate current and experimental coating systems according to agreed methods, standards and customer specifications
* Keep accurate and complete records and produce quality reports of your laboratory activity
* Ensure maintenance, safety and tidiness of equipment used in R&D laboratory
* Follow all guidelines and Group procedures regarding Health & Safety and Environment
Qualifications
* Education as Laboratory Technician or equivalent studies
* Strong hands-on and quality orientation in the laboratory
* Ability to plan and organize your tasks
* Previous experience working in a coating’s laboratory would be an advantage, but is not a requirement
* Effective communication skills (ability to communicate in Englishis preferable)
* Teamwork oriented
