We are looking for a Laboratory Technician that will be passionate about assist in paint system designs, resolution of problems and application and/or testing of products we offer our global clients.
You will have the unique opportunity to report directly to our R&D Manager - PFP Development, be based on our office in Spain - Santa Perpetua de Mogoda and cooperate with other colleagues from all over the world.

What you can look forward to in this Role :
Support scientists in research and development projects in the area Passive Fire Protection coatings
Prepare experimental paints and test specimens
Evaluate current and experimental coating systems according to agreed methods, standards and customer specifications
Keep accurate and complete records and produce quality reports of your laboratory activity
Ensure maintenance, safety and tidiness of equipment used in R&D laboratory
Follow all guidelines and Group procedures regarding Health & Safety and Environment
Qualifications
Education as Laboratory Technician or equivalent studies
Strong hands-on and quality orientation in the laboratory
Ability to plan and organize your tasks
Previous experience working in a coating’s laboratory would be an advantage, but is not a requirement
Effective communication skills (ability to communicate in Englishis preferable)
Teamwork oriented
