Lead Technical Artist – Tripledot Games\nAs the Lead Technical Artist, you will manage and guide a skilled team, overseeing the technical art for both live games and new games in development. The role requires strong managerial skills, strategic planning, a solid technical background, and hands‑on collaboration across departments to ensure optimal game performance and excellent visuals.

Key Responsibilities
\n
Design and implement the “Unity layer” linking art and animation with the programmers’ codebase.
\n
Construct new game features within Unity, including Unity UI, following internal technical workflow.
\n
Write custom C# components for complex visual elements.
\n
Optimise existing and new features.
\n
Create animations, particle effects, and custom shaders.
\n
Lead and mentor a team of 2 experienced Technical Artists.
\n
Take a proactive role in product development in line with company goals.
\n
Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
\n
Contribute to task planning and estimation with other Leads.
\n
Required Skills & Knowledge
\n
Expertise in the Unity engine, especially Unity UI.
\n
Experience with different architectural approaches to game development.
\n
Ability to write clean, performant C# code.
\n
Experience with Git and best practices.
\n
Ability to create animations, particle effects, and custom shaders.
\n
Experience optimising games for smooth performance across devices.
\n
Proven experience in leading a team, mentoring, and guiding team members.
\n
Experience in strategic planning, accurate task estimation, and aligning with project timelines.
\n
Drive to proactively optimise technical art workflows to enhance efficiency and performance.
