EMEA Cloud Unified Services Centre
brings together consulting, delivery, and engineering expertise to support the full services lifecycle—from early discovery and solution design through to implementation and operational handover. Within this, the
Infrastructure & Application Modernisation Practice
plays a critical role in helping organisations migrate and modernise their Azure foundations and applications, while building repeatable, scalable services that accelerate cloud transformation across the region.
You’ll work closely with regional technical specialists and local commercial teams, contributing to high-impact customer outcomes while helping evolve our services portfolio. You’ll be part of a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing environment where ideas are welcomed, expertise is respected, and diverse perspectives drive better solutions.
The role: your purpose and responsibilities
As a
Technical Consultant
you will help partners and customers design and deliver modern cloud solutions, acting as a trusted technical advisor across the full engagement lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead technical discovery, qualification, and solution architecture for Azure modernisation engagements
Design and deliver secure, resilient, and scalable Azure infrastructure and application solutions
Translate business and technical requirements into pragmatic modernisation strategies and architectures
Contribute to Statements of Work, scope definition, estimates, and delivery assumptions
Act as a senior technical contributor on complex engagements and multi‑disciplinary programmes
Ensure high-quality delivery artefacts and effective operational handover
Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimisation or follow‑on services
Mentor colleagues and contribute to the development of repeatable services and propositions
What you bring to succeed
You combine strong Azure expertise with consulting maturity, customer focus, and a collaborative mindset.
Experience and expectations:
5+ years in a technical consulting or engineering role, with a focus on cloud solutions
Proven experience designing and delivering Azure infrastructure and application modernisation initiatives
Hands‑on knowledge of Azure services across networking, identity, security, platform, and application hosting
Experience with migration and modernisation approaches (re‑host, re‑platform, refactor, cloud‑native)
Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code, automation, and DevOps practices
Strong customer engagement skills, including discovery workshops and solution design sessions
Excellent communication skills in
English and Spanish
Ability to lead technically, influence stakeholders, and work effectively across teams
