Why we need this role
As an indirect procurement business partner, you will manage the company's supply portfolio, ensuring transparency of spending. You will oversee categories of spend according to business needs, develop and implement sourcing and category management strategies, analyze procurement costs, and suggest methods to reduce expenditure. Additionally, you will handle corporate sourcing operations and improve sourcing activities by analyzing company spending, partnerships, and exploring new opportunities.
What you will do
* Lead the timely procurement of products and services across assigned categories.
* Develop and implement category strategies to optimize costs, time, supplier capacity, and competitiveness aligning with group objectives.
* Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align strategies, savings plans, budgets, and processes.
* Engage with trustworthy, inclusive, and diverse suppliers.
* Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and long-term value.
* Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and scenario planning for data-driven decisions.
* Monitor market trends to anticipate changes in supply dynamics.
* Apply risk mitigation techniques and support sustainable procurement practices aligned with ISO20400.
* Manage end-to-end tender processes, from specifications to contract award.
* Ensure procurement documentation is complete and maintained in Ariba.
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve procurement and contractual issues.
* Conduct supply risk assessments and incorporate findings into category plans.
* Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement practices, tools, and compliance.
* Support internal teams with procurement activities and process improvements.
* Evaluate bids considering TCO, payment terms, and economies of scale.
* Contribute to procurement systems, processes, and category-specific solutions development.

Relationships and key contacts
* Work closely with Finance Business Partners, legal, and internal stakeholders.
* Maintain regular contact with Colt suppliers.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and sourcing management.
* Proven track record managing large, complex global RFPs, especially in Marketing or Strategic Sourcing.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to build and manage supplier relationships effectively.
* Skilled in negotiation, vendor management, and risk mitigation.
* Strong analytical skills for interpreting procurement and market data.
* Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
* Strategic thinker with understanding of market dynamics.
* Proficiency in procurement tools and software.
* Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost savings.
* Attention to detail and decision-making skills.
* Comfortable engaging with senior executives.
* BSc in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
* MCIPS qualification or working towards it.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, resilient under pressure.
