Medidedalia is the AI in healthcare startup of the Col·legi de Metges de Barcelona. We develop artificial intelligence solutions for the healthcare and insurance sectors, working closely with hospitals, insurers, and medical institutions. Our mission is to turn data and AI into practical tools that improve decision-making and operational efficiency through the latest Large Language Models in the safest way possible.
We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious individual who wants to help grow a startup from the inside. This is not a passive or purely analytical role. It combines strategy, execution, sales, and business building in a fast-paced environment.
You will work directly with leadership and be involved in real strategic decisions, commercial initiatives, and growth projects from day one.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Market Analysis
Conduct in-depth market research in healthcare, insurance, and AI.
Analyze competitors (product, pricing, positioning).
Book and attend product demos to benchmark alternatives.
Estimate market size and identify expansion opportunities.
Propose out-of-the-box strategies for positioning and growth.
2. Financial Modeling & Pricing
Build financial models in Excel based on limited or imperfect data.
Design pricing strategies grounded in market and competitive analysis.
Develop scenario planning and support strategic decision-making.
Contribute to internal business plans and product roadmap discussions.
3. Sales & Business Development
Identify and qualify potential leads.
Call hospitals, insurers, and potential partners to generate opportunities.
Book meetings and follow up persistently.
Prepare commercial decks and investor presentations.
Participate in conferences and represent the company when needed.
Help structure partnerships and joint ventures.
This role requires someone comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations, handling objections, and pushing opportunities forward.
4. Funding & Strategic Projects
Research and evaluate public grants and funding opportunities.
Support grant applications and investor materials.
Contribute to strategic projects that shape the company's growth.
Profile We Are Looking For
Fluent in Catalan, Spanish, and English (mandatory).
Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
Comfortable calling potential clients and driving sales conversations.
Motivated by growth and impact, not just task completion.
Able to think independently and propose creative business strategies.
Resilient and comfortable with rejection in sales contexts.
Thrives in fast-paced, high-responsibility startup environments.
