At Aktios, we are looking for a AI DevOps Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate cloud-native platforms that enable AI and Machine Learning teams to develop, deploy, and scale solutions efficiently within the airline and aviation sector. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on platform ownership, infrastructure reliability, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the environments and services used by AI teams, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across the platform. 💡 Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate AI platform infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based environments running on Amazon EKS.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize SageMaker, MLflow, Kubeflow, and Managed Airflow environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Design and support Machine Learning pipelines and supporting platform services.
- Implement automation, monitoring, observability, and operational best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and AI teams to deliver reliable and scalable platforms.
- Drive technical decisions and take ownership of platform architecture and implementation 🔎 What we're looking for
Strong expertise in AWS cloud services. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
Advanced Terraform knowledge.
Experience operating SageMaker environments.
Experience deploying and managing MLflow/Kubeflow on EKS.
Experience with AWS Managed Airflow.
Understanding of Machine Learning workflows and platform requirements.
Strong automation, monitoring, and operational skills.
