As a Key Account Manager, you will drive new sales on our Marine Coatings Business, growing both existing business year-over-year, and developing new accounts. If you can provide outstanding customer service experience, this job may be for you!**Key Responsibilities**:- Sell Marine Coatings products to new and existing customers with adherence to pricing policy and with the responsibility for the achievement of monthly and annual sales and margin targets.- Ensure that customer accounts are settled on a timely basis and keep customers within their credit terms to maintain business liquidity.- Maintain regular contact with customers- Ensure any customer complaints are recorded and reported accurately and are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.- Implement regional business plans and a Key Target Account plan for the customers/area for which is responsible.- Have a detailed understanding of the Marine sector and PPG PMC strategy for growth and development.- Liaison with technical team and project management to improve customer support function.- Plan and implement visits to new and existing customers to maintain awareness of the Marine product range and to gain understanding of competitor activity within the market- Develop and maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure that the business is improving on all sales opportunities.- Fulfil administrative responsibilities in an accurate and timely manner.- Guarantee that all administrative tasks, including reporting and recording, are completed and submitted within timescales and to required standard.- Maximise sales across PPG Marine product range, maintaining product knowledge, standards and awareness of the market place**Qualifications**- High school diploma or a degree in marketing or business studies or equivalent; - Proven Sales Skills with previous sales experience preferred.- Experience in the Marine or Protective coatings industry preferred- A working knowledge of the types of clients and procedures within the Marine coatings market.- Knowledge of Geographical area and based preferably in Madrid.- Good organisational skills and problem solving- Outstanding interpersonal with the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with both customers, colleagues and sales team- Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint- Flexibility to travel**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**:Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.**We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
