Santander SBGM is looking for a Delivery Operations Analyst for their offices in Boadilla del Monte (CGS - Dehesa), Madrid, Spain.
Responsibilities
* Join the Reconciliations area as the Global team within Core Operations - Pre Post Trade in the Santander Corporate & Investment Banking Division.
* Service the end-to-end reconciliation process for different typologies such as Front-Back, Cash, Custodian, Transitory across units including Madrid, SLB, UK, New York, SBNA, European branches, and Asia.
* Participate in the operating model, including the technical execution of the process, through analysis, reporting and monitoring of results, with a close relationship with product teams (Markets, GTB and GDF) to monitor classification, risk management and resolution.
* Participate in projects of various nature (new perimeters and continuous improvement), defining requirements, performing validations and supporting implementation.
* Collaborate in risk detection/escalation and in the generation of KPIs that measure service quality.
What do we need?
* Knowledge of SCIB products; ability to make presentations; Knowledge of internal systems (Murex, GBO, Calypso, etc.); accounting knowledge.
Experience
* Experience in financial markets and/or digital-related roles in the banking industry.
Education
* Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
Skills & Knowledge
* Knowledge of financial products (Derivatives, FX, Fixed income, Equity).
* Accounting and/or bank reconciliation skills.
* New technologies (data science and AI) and APIs (desirable).
* English level C1.
