Job Description1. Product Strategy & Pricing Architecture- Own the full product lifecycle for Last Mile delivery solutions in Europe (FR, ES, PT, BE), including local delivery, PUDO (Pick-up/Drop-off), and reverse logistics.
- Margin-Driven Pricing: Develop and maintain sophisticated profit models (Margin Models) by analyzing cost drivers such as carrier fees, operational overheads, fuel surcharges, and exception handling costs.
- Define competitive pricing structures (e.g., dynamic pricing, tiered pricing) that balance market penetration with healthy gross margins.
2. Regional Product Planning & Execution- Deep-dive into local delivery ecosystems (e.g., French relay networks, Spanish last-mile expectations) to design localized delivery solutions.
- Drive the roadmap from concept to launch, ensuring pricing logic is accurately integrated into internal systems and downstream execution.
3. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis- Establish a continuous monitoring mechanism for competitor pricing and service offerings across key EU markets (DHL, DPD, GLS, Colissimo, etc.).
- Utilize A/B testing and conversion data to refine pricing strategies and optimize the sales funnel.
4. Cost Management & Profitability- Collaborate with procurement and commercial teams in carrier negotiations to ensure a sustainable spread between purchase costs and sales pricing.
- Monitor core KPIs: Gross Margin, Freight Revenue-to-Cost Ratio, Market Pricing Competitiveness, and Conversion Rate.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Act as the bridge between Product, Commercial, and Finance teams.
- Provide Pricing Guides and discount frameworks to the local sales teams to ensure commercial alignment.
Job Requirements1. Education- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
2. Experience- 2+ years of experience in product management, pricing strategy, or commercial operations within the logistics, e-commerce, or express delivery industry.
- European Market Expertise: Solid understanding of the European logistics landscape, particularly the rate card structures and delivery behaviors in France, Spain, Portugal, and Belgium.
3. Core Competencies- Commercial Acumen: Strong proficiency in constructing complex pricing models and an intuitive understanding of the \"Last Mile\" cost-to-serve.
- Analytical Prowess: Expert-level skills in data tools (Excel/SQL/BI). Proven ability to handle large datasets to derive pricing insights and perform profit sensitivity analysis.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to navigate the trade-off between volume growth and profitability. Experience in defining \"Value-Based\" or \"Cost-Plus\" pricing strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical product/pricing logic to non-technical teams.
4. Language Proficiency- Fluent in English (both spoken and written) is mandatory for business negotiations, data analysis, and cross-team collaboration.
5. Technical Knowledge- Familiarity with logistics systems (TMS, tracking systems, or route optimization platforms) and a clear understanding of how pricing logic is integrated into IT architecture.
