Job Description
Are you a skilled and qualified Technician at Level 2 or equivalent ? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Howards Group. We are offering a salary of
£27,759.
This is based on a 42 hour working week (No Weekends).

Who Are We Looking For?
- Qualified Technicians: With relevant formal qualifications - Minimum Level 2 NVQ (IMI/City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Excellent Communicator: Great communication skills to explain technical information accurately and concisely.
- Customer-Focused: Prioritise customer experience and safety throughout the service and repair process.
- Team Player: Collaborate with other technicians during peak periods and take ownership of safety issues identified in the workshop.

The car has had nothing but issues since Howards (Weston) serviced it; and Howards have been truly awful since; making promises that aren't kept and leaving us with issues that aren't fixed months and months later. Clearly they don't care about their customers once they have made the sale. Most likely I won't buy Suzuki again; and won't buy from Howards group again.

We have had a really good experience throughout our dealings with everyone at Howard's in Dorchester. Sadly, our initial purchase of a Peugeot didn't work out due to a series of mechanical issues, but we were well supported by both Shane, and Aftersales Manager Josh, throughout this period. As a consequence, we discussed our lost confidence in this vehicle with Elliot in sales and, along with Sales Manager James, they were amazing in helping us to resolve this and get back on the road with a Hyundai, which we are really pleased with. Our thanks to everyone involved in resolving these issues, and particularly for being so supportive throughout. Often it isn't what goes wrong, but the way these things are dealt with that are more important. We will continue to highly recommend Howard's Dorchester

Car has been serviced and I was allowed to borrow a desk to work on my laptop while I waited. Great comms and customer service from Lauren on the service reception desk. A commentated video from the engineer on the health check they undertook… great service and attention to detail all round …. High recommended

Purchased a Inster from Howards - first class experience throughout. From the test drive to buying the car. Even when a minor problem with paintwork arose it was quickly and efficiently dealt with. Ashton couldn't have been more helpful and made the whole process smooth and drama free. An excellent service from Howards.

There is a common fault with the PureTech engine where the wet belt degrades over time and can cause catastrophic engine failure. To get the car booked in for a diagnostic, you have to wait over a month as they only have one technician who can do this. I've been advised not to drive the car and being made to jump through hoops to get the to potentially get them to cover the cost.

Booking the service was easy and I got all the information I needed on my service plan. Drop off on the day was smooth, clearly explained what would happen. I received the phone when they said the would. Collection was excellent, everything was explained clearly. The staff were professional and polite Great customer service Good work

Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
