Position Objective:
The Program Director of Perioperative Services, reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Services, provides strategic leadership for operating rooms, cystoscopy, the Post Anaesthetic Recovery Unit, Pre-operative Care Unit, and Surgical Day Care. This role ensures high-quality patient care aligned with legal, regulatory, and professional standards, and collaborates with the Chief/Physician Director to set strategic direction and integrate best practices at Humber River Health.
Career Experience and Core Competencies:
* Master’s Degree in Nursing or a related discipline.
* Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
* Membership with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO).
* Clinical experience in acute care services.
* Minimum of five years of management experience working with a medical dyad partner.
* Experience in business planning, resource management, program development, evaluation, and patient care services management.
