Overview
Join our team as a Technical Data Engineering Specialist in Systems Spain, part of the Technical Data Systems Spain (SIDY4) team within Airbus Customer Services. You will contribute to safe and efficient aircraft operations by developing and delivering maintenance and material documentation to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* A. Technical Data Authoring and Quality Assurance
o Lead technical data delivery: manage and coordinate authoring activities, ensuring content creation and updates meet specifications, contractual commitments, quality standards, and budget objectives.
o Proactive problem‑solving: identify and resolve roadblocks that could delay manual updates within assigned ATA chapters.
o Continuous improvement: assess existing documentation for potential customer issues and implement enhancements.
o Stakeholder interface: act as the critical link between technical data, customers, and internal/external partners.
o Configuration management: manage system configuration at the MSN level for all written procedures.
* B. Subcontracting Management
o Oversee subcontractors: manage deliveries and monitor quantitative and qualitative performance of subcontractors supporting authoring activities.
o Performance evaluation: define and analyze KPIs to assess overall performance.
* C. Design Criteria Integration
o Impact analysis: evaluate aircraft design criteria (Mod, Service Bulletin, MMEL, CDL, MPD, etc.) to detect their impact on technical documentation.
o Ensure compliance: guarantee seamless integration of all affected design criteria into the technical manuals.
* D. Innovation and Transnational Collaboration
o Drive change: participate actively in transnational and trans‑organizational projects to improve products and processes, sharing experiences and feedback.
o Process standardisation: contribute to continuous improvement of processes, technical data tools, and standardisation of ways of working across the transnational organisation.
* E. Customer Support Excellence
o Direct customer support: manage and respond to customer questions using the Tech Request Tool, providing efficient and continuous support to improve satisfaction and detect potential safety impacts.
o Career growth: may take on transversal missions such as TDCI, coordinating major technical data topics for a portfolio of airlines/lessors.

* Experience in project management.

* Spanish (mother tongue).

Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or similar, or a completed technical apprenticeship with further training.
* Previous experience in direct customer contact and meeting tight deadlines is a plus.
