A Day in the Life
We offer you a position where the following tasks are part of your daily work:
• Analyzing the marketplace, developing an effective territory/account sales strategy, and presenting the strategy to management to gain approval for implementation.
• Performing all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presenting to contract negotiation.
• Identifying and address all key decision makers (clinical, administrative/economic) and key opinion leaders in all accounts and reporting on them via the provided systems and personally to the district manager on a regular basis.
• Building – together with regional and business manager – strong and lasting business relationships with key opinion leaders and key decision makers influential in the purchasing process.
• Providing technical support to customers (i.e., physicians, consultants, cardiologists) according to territory guidelines.
• Training and educating relevant hospital staff on Medtronic products., using resources, if necessary, in the most effective way.
• Planning and preparing sales forecasts by account, product, and therapy for the territory along with proposed meetings/customer activities and investments.
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, BA, or another relevant degree
• At least 5 years selling experience in the medical device industry
• Highly valuable experience in intensive care unit and/or anesthesia area
• Knowledge of the Medical Industry competitive marketplace
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement)
• Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
• Full clean driver license
