Business Controller – Robert Walters
Leading FMCG company located in the Valles Oriental is looking for a Business Controller to help the company achieve its transformation and growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze activity and monitoring indicators and ensure the reliability and relevance of the indicators and management tools.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the company’s economic management (P&L;, Balance, scorecard, etc.).
- Prepare reports on the main business KPIs to control deviations and support decision‑making.
- Prepare and consolidate the annual budget and its forecasts or periodic reviews.
- Manage and report the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Optimize management information systems in collaboration with the IT area.
- Ensure budget processes (sales budgets by delegation, distributors…) and their annual reviews.
- Analyze results, develop insightful suggestions to increase efficiency and simplify processes.
- Support operations, managing external manufacturers from contract negotiations to product cost calculations and daily operation follow‑up, coordinating with Operations, Procurement, Legal and Commercial departments.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning and business strategic analysis of the business unit.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles.
- Experience with automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, rigorous and methodical profile, entrepreneurial, friendly, socially adaptable, proactive and positive attitude.
- Advanced user of Excel, management ERPs (SAP, NAVISION, MOVEX, etc.) and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, SQL).
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
