AI Filmmaker
to join our freelance network. You'll use cutting-edge generative AI tools to amplify our storytelling capabilities while maintaining the human heart that makes our work unforgettable.
The role
We're seeking a creative visionary who can bridge the worlds of traditional filmmaking and generative AI. You'll be our go-to expert for leveraging AI tools to enhance our storytelling capabilities while ensuring every piece of content maintains the human heart that makes our work distinctive.
This isn't about replacing human creativity with algorithms – it's about amplifying our creative potential and exploring new frontiers of what's possible in visual storytelling.
Core Responsibilities
Creative Development & Strategy
Collaborate with our creative team to conceptualize AI-enhanced storytelling approachesDevelop treatments and creative concepts that strategically integrate AI toolsLead brainstorming sessions on innovative ways to use AI in client projectsResearch and test emerging AI content creation tools and techniques
Production & Execution
Execute AI-enhanced video projects from concept to completionCreate compelling visual content using generative AI tools (video, motion graphics, visual effects)Develop AI-generated elements that enhance traditional filmed contentManage AI tool workflows and optimize for quality and efficiency
Leadership & Autonomy
Lead smaller AI-focused initiatives independentlyProvide technical guidance to team members on AI tool integrationEstablish best practices for AI content creation within our workflowPresent AI possibilities and recommendations to clients when appropriate
Quality & Innovation
Ensure all AI-generated content maintains Camping's quality standardsBalance technical innovation with authentic storytellingContinuously experiment with new AI tools and techniquesMaintain awareness of AI ethics and responsible creation practices
What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience in filmmaking, video production, or creative directionExpert proficiency with current AI content creation tools (RunwayML, Pika Labs, Stable Video Diffusion, AI audio tools, etc.)Strong understanding of video production workflows and post-production processesPortfolio demonstrating creative use of AI tools in storytelling contextsAbility to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with remote teams
The Perfect Fit Will Also Have
Experience creating content for B2B or tech clientsBackground in motion graphics, visual effects, or animationFamiliarity with traditional production equipment and techniquesUnderstanding of brand storytelling principlesExperience with project management and client collaboration

Location
This position is based in Barcelona, Spain. We won't be taking candidates that aren't able to live in Barcelona. For all non-contract positions, you must have the right to work in Spain.

This is a
freelance position
with flexible project-based engagement. Depending on project needs and mutual fit, there may be opportunities for ongoing collaboration and increased involvement.

We believe in transparent, fair compensation that reflects the specialized nature of this role. Rates will be discussed based on experience, project scope, and ongoing collaboration potential.
