We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual to join our team as a Community Manager for the French market. This role is all about executing our social media strategy hands-on: engaging daily with our community, creating content, and making sure our social channels remain fresh, dynamic, and trend-driven.

In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Social Media Manager and with the Marketing Specialist and Affiliate Manager for France. Your work will strengthen our brand presence in France by engaging the community and producing content that resonates across different business units.

Mission: As a Community Manager for the french market, your mission is to build and nurture an engaged digital community. You'll drive innovative social media strategies, create compelling content, and foster authentic connections that enhance our brand and enrich the travel experience.

Main responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily operational management of Heymondo’s social media channels (Instagram, Threads, TikTok and X) in France, including responding to comments, addressing queries, interacting with the community and publishing engaging content.
* Create and publish daily content (videos, stories, carousels) optimised for TikTok and Instagram, ensuring all visuals and messaging align with platform trends and engagement best practices.
* Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms to ensure Heymondo remains at the forefront of digital engagement in France.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align social media initiatives with overall marketing strategies.
* Analyse social media performance metrics and KPIs to optimize content and engagement strategies.

Key activities / responsibilities to perform:

Community Engagement & Social Media Operations

* Oversee Heymondo’s social media presence in France by engaging with the community and managing day-to-day interactions.
* Ensure timely responses to comments and questions across our social media channels.
* Stay updated on trends on platforms like Instagram and TikTok to keep our content engaging and relevant.
* Develop and produce trend-driven content (videos, IG Stories, carousels) that aligns with platform algorithms and is optimised based on KPI analysis.
* Plan and schedule content that will be used by the entire marketing team across various business units.
* Assist in refining content strategies based on performance analysis.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

* Track and report on key performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement of our social media strategy.
* Identify opportunities for optimisation and suggest improvements to increase engagement.
* Benchmark the competition on social media to analyse their strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in social media management or community engagement (1-2 years).
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertisement, Communications or related field.
* Bilingual: Native-level French skills required, and Spanish. English is a plus.
* Heavy user of Instagram and TikTok with a deep understanding of platform trends.
* Excellent French writing skills and storytelling ability.
* Passionate about travel and knowledgeable about industry trends.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, managing dual responsibilities across community management and content planning.
* Creative, proactive and organized mindset.
* Proficient in using Canva and CapCut.
* Experience using Meta Insights and TikTok Analytics to monitor and evaluate content performance.
* Experience with influencer partnerships and UGC-based content strategies.
* This is a fully hands-on role—if you're looking for a strategic or managerial position, this might not be the right fit.
* A plus: experience covering events on Social Media and experience planning and executing social media giveaways and contests to boost engagement and reach.

Schedule: Full Time

* Flexible hours (7.5 hours a day).
* 100% Remote (we have a very nice office right next to Torre Agbar in Barcelona in case you want to work from there too).

Primary Location: Barcelona / remote (Spain)
