Core Responsibilities:
Brand planning and implementation (40%)
* Drive and execute an annual activation calendar in close collaboration with Trade marketing, Brand Communication team, Digital, Sales, and Customer Development.
* Own and develop innovative marketing strategies that drive brand equity and build active share (penetration), re-activation (repeat purchase), and frequency (engagement).
* Contribute to the Marketing strategy development objective setting process and consumer communications planning to ensure efficient marketing plan executions for our themes in France-Iberia.
* Analyze progress of competitor activity, changing market needs, and evolution of shopper behaviors to facilitate modifications on brand strategies when needed.
* Provide input into the product development process to regional and global partners.
* Track customer satisfaction closely and input monthly forecasts by 'theme' in collaboration with Brand Managers in other markets to share the best ways of working.
* Own external media agency partner relationships.
Business Management (30%)
* Manage budgets and financials related to marketing campaigns.
* Ongoing analysis and evaluation of brand and campaign performance initiating corrective actions for improvements.
* Provide marketing support to Sales to accompany the business development of our brands with key in-market customers.
Project Management (30%)
* Be an ambassador for Brand in cross-functional in-market and regional projects to maximize collaboration and coherence of marketing activities.

The role is to support the broader France-Iberia Marketing team's purpose to lead strategically important themes that deliver sustainable growth, by developing and implementing an innovative strategy (and marketing plans) for the brand which create demand enabling the brand image to be strengthened amongst the target consumer and shopper.
Do you have what it takes?
* Direct and proven commercial experience in a results focused brand marketing role working for an international consumer goods company delivering into retail, it is important to have in-house exposure ideally in a toy, gaming/entertainment industry background.
* An in-depth understanding of the leadership of omnichannel retail campaign marketing activities that have a strategic impact coupled with solid digital capabilities (eCommerce, Social, Influence, etc.) and acute perspective on key Digital and Media trends in the market landscape in children and/ or toys.
* Experience in planning and implementing strategic marketing campaigns (both offline and online) for third party retailers based on detailed analytical and budget focused metrics is essential in this role.
* A collaborative and data-driven approach to work with a wide range of partners and agencies, a team-focused individual.
* Fluency in Spanish is critical as is a business proficiency level in English both written and spoken
* An ability to work 3 days in the Madrid office per week, 2 days from home
