For our international customer in Valencia, we are looking for a hybrid Senior PeopleSoft HCM Developer
EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates need to be based in Valencia or willing to relocate to Valencia. Candidates need to be flexible to work across time zones, including alignment with US Eastern Time where required.
Work permit is not provided. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement solutions supporting the HCM application portfolio;
* Provide ongoing support and maintenance for assigned platform systems, ensuring system stability, performance, and timely application of security updates;
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for system enhancements and process improvements;
* Analyze software and business requirements and work closely with development teams to deliver solutions aligned with organizational needs;
* Coordinate with IT and business teams to ensure successful solution delivery in accordance with SDLC standards, governance, and best practices;
* Continuous improvement and automation within HCM systems and related business processes;
* Provide HCM application support and troubleshooting during EST business hours;
Profile:
* Bachelor or Master degree;
* +10 years of relevant IT experience;
* Strong experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting HR applications, including Benefits and Compensation solutions.
* In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleTools, SQRs, PS Queries, scripts, and DataStage.
* Expertise in PeopleSoft techno-functional consulting across Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Pension, and Tax modules.
* Advanced experience with Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, XML Publisher, SQL, and data analysis tools.
* Experience with Workday and cloud migration projects, including data conversion from on-premises PeopleSoft environments.
* Knowledge of third-party integrations and cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Solid understanding of ERP implementation methodologies, IT service management, change management, and SDLC processes.
* Exposure to automation and AI initiatives within HCM systems and functions.
* Fluency in English;
