Roles:
1) ADAS Manager / ADAS Responsible
Your Tasks:
- Define the ADAS development roadmap and system strategy aligned with vehicle and business requirements.
- Lead the definition of ADAS functions, system architecture, requirements, and integration strategy.
- Coordinate internal teams and suppliers to ensure the correct development, validation, and industrialization of ADAS systems.
- Ensure compliance with functional safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise testing and validation activities at component, system, and vehicle level.
- Support issue resolution during development, integration, and validation phases.
- Drive alignment between software, electronics, sensors, actuators, and vehicle integration teams.
Knowledge:
- ADAS system architecture and integration in automotive or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Development of functions such as FCW, AEB, ACC, LDW/LKA, BSD, parking assistance, or similar.
- Sensor technologies: radar, camera, ultrasonic, LiDAR and sensor fusion principles.
- Functional safety and related development processes (ISO 26262, SOTIF, ASPICE or similar).
- Vehicle communication networks and diagnostics (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS).
- Validation and homologation requirements for ADAS functions.
Tools:
- Requirements Management: Polarion, DOORS or similar.
- System Modelling: Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, PREEvision or similar.
- Simulation and development tools: MATLAB / Simulink, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer.
- Testing and calibration tools: ETAS INCA, dSPACE, NI, IPG CarMaker, Carla or similar.
- Issue tracking and project coordination: Jira, Confluence or similar.
2) ADAS Development Engineer
Your Tasks:
- Define, develop and document ADAS system requirements, functional logic, and interfaces.
- Support the integration of ADAS sensors, ECUs, actuators, and software into the vehicle platform.
- Work with suppliers to ensure components and software meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and execute test plans for ADAS functions at bench, simulation, and vehicle level.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with vehicle, electrical, software, and validation teams to ensure robust system performance.
- Support system tuning, calibration, and function optimization.
Knowledge:
- ADAS development processes and system engineering methodology.
- Sensor integration and signal interpretation for camera, radar, ultrasonic, LiDAR or similar systems.
- Vehicle electrical/electronic architecture and communication protocols.
- Basic understanding of control systems, perception, decision, and actuation chains.
- Functional safety and validation processes in automotive development.
- Vehicle testing and validation for advanced driver assistance systems.
Tools:
- Requirements Management: Polarion, DOORS or similar.
- System Modelling: Enterprise Architect, IBM System Design Rhapsody or similar.
- Development and simulation tools: MATLAB / Simulink, CarMaker, dSPACE, RTMaps or similar.
- Testing tools: ETAS INCA, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer.
- Data analysis tools: Python, Excel, CANape, MDA or similar.
Requirements:
Studies
- Electronic / Automotive / Mechatronic / Control / Telecommunications Engineer or similar.
- Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Embedded Systems, Autonomous Systems or similar is a plus.
Experience
- ADAS Manager / Responsible: Min. 5 years in ADAS, automotive systems engineering, or vehicle electronics development. xhfqzwm
