SplitStay is building the coordination layer for shared accommodation.
Every day, travelers coordinate room shares through WhatsApp groups, Facebook communities, Discord servers, event communities and personal networks.
The behavior already exists.
Our belief is simple:
The next generation of travel marketplaces will not start with inventory. They will start with coordination.
Just as Airbnb organized existing home-sharing behavior and BlaBlaCar organized existing ridesharing behavior, SplitStay is organizing the existing behavior of travelers coordinating shared accommodation before they book.
We are currently preparing our application for IMEC iStart (https://www.Imecistart.Com/en/spain), a leading startup accelerator program in Barcelona and are looking for a highly entrepreneurial builder who wants to help shape the future of travel.
This is an opportunity to join at a pivotal stage, work directly with the founder, help define the product, and potentially become part of the founding team as we pursue accelerator backing and pre-seed funding.

* You have built and launched products before
* You can independently ship product features
* You understand both product and technology
* You are comfortable creating and improving Figma flows
* You enjoy solving problems rather than discussing them endlessly

LOCATION
Our accelerator application and startup activities are centered around Barcelona, one of Europe's most active startup ecosystems.
Candidates based in Barcelona are especially encouraged to apply, although exceptional remote candidates will also be considered.
