For an international institution in Strasbourg, we are urgently looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer.
Candidates should be living in Strasbourg or needs to be willing to relocate to Strasbourg, France.
EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates need to be fluent in English. A work permit is required, but not provided. This position is long-term and open for contractors.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain SharePoint site collections with multiple sites, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, web part pages, workflows, retention policies, and governance policies
Manage the client's web-based Enterprise Content Management system (ECM) and collaboration resources
Participation to the development and maintenance of a SharePoint tool for the creation of external services requests in the agency
Monitor and report on usage as well as perform security audits of the systems
Implement the final design (i.E., "look-and-feel") of the User Interface (UI) collaborating with communication staff
Coordinate technical reviews ensuring that the application UI meets usability, functional, and client's UI guidelines and standards
Work with staff and key stakeholders to define the high-level solution to be delivered, including collaboration with governance/oversight group to align with corporate strategy
Provide training and act as a "point of contact" for web related questions and requests
Produce and maintain procedural documentation
Profile:
Bachelor or Master degree;
+4 yearsof IT professional experience in the domain (among web site management, web page design and development, SharePoint development and administration);
+2 yearsof SharePoint development experience;
+1 year of SharePoint architectural design experience on an enterprise implementation;
+2 yearsof Microsoft administration experience on Windows operating systems, Scripting and/or Microsoft .NET development experience;
Experience in web site support;
Microsoft SharePoint certification or equivalent experience;
Good understanding of SharePoint and the different out-of-the-box web parts and their functionality, InfoPath Form Services, SharePoint Designer, Power Platform/Microsoft Power Automate and Visual Studio 2022.
Demonstrated experience translating a final design into a finished SharePoint web presence;
Knowledge ofinformation management technologies and platforms, especially SharePoint 2010;
Experience and knowledge of ITIL and Agile methodology
Mastery of source control tools such as TFS, GIT
Fluent in English;
