Service Owner - Platform Governance & Standardization
The Service Owner is accountable for the end-to-end health and performance of a portfolio of shared platforms.
This role ensures platforms deliver business value while remaining compliant, cost‑effective, and aligned with enterprise standards. The Service Owner acts as the single point of clarity across governance, lifecycle, and stakeholder coordination.
What is expected from this role
- Act as a Service owner for platform value, balancing business needs, risk, and long-term sustainability
- Drive consistency and transparency across platform governance, lifecycle decisions, and vendor interactions
- Foster strong collaboration across IT, business stakeholders, and peer service owners to enable seamless platform usage
Tasks and responsibilities
- Centralize accountabilities for all managed platforms.
- Ensure alignment with IT ways of working, strategy and architecture.
- Strengthening compliance, governance, and risk management.
- Standardized processes, documentation, and lifecycle management.
- Optimizing cost efficiency and vendor management.Manage the relationship with other service owners and POs that we share platforms with.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of enterprise architectures, cloud platforms, integrations, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Experience leading platform governance, technical audits, and risk management.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring frameworks, and automation.
- Ability to define and enforce technical standards and lifecycle processes.
- Strong cross‑team facilitation and the ability to drive technical alignment across multiple squads.
- Demonstrate strong business–technical translation skills with experience liaising across business, operational, and IT teams; quickly learn new tools including AI and automation solutions.
- Excel in a fast‑paced, integral environment through strong time‑management, independent problem‑solving, attention to detail, and fluent English communication.
- Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree, ideally with pharma experience or prior roles in digital marketing/SEM/SM within service delivery settings; able to work hybrid from Sant Cugat and travel occasionally.
