Job Details
Functions:
1. Responsible for the smooth execution of each shipment from collection to delivery.
2. Ensure shipments are sent by the most secure, rapid, and efficient method.
3. Coordinate detailed pre-planning to facilitate smooth shipments.
4. Utilize internal computer systems including TMS, DASH, Descartes, ColdStream Select, SharePoint, etc.
5. Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments, reacting to deviations from the plan.
6. Schedule pick-ups and deliveries, and assign drivers in coordination with dispatchers.
7. Follow up on clearance progress and POD details.
8. Run reports and update activities in TMS.
9. Communicate temperature results promptly after delivery, noting any deviations.
10. Coordinate import/export clearance processes with the brokerage department.
11. Prepare paperwork for export shipments.
12. Coordinate with airlines and handlers, make bookings, and issue AWBs.
13. Work in accordance with regulations (ADR/DGR/IATA) and local laws and guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
2. Knowledge of the logistics industry.
3. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
4. Flexible attitude for working shifts and last-minute coverage.
5. Ability to prioritize workload, which may change throughout the day.
6. Availability to work on weekends and bank holidays.
