The EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA) is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region. The mission is to drive the adoption of a global model based on the US SAP ECC system, rolling out the solution in European companies. He/she reports to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead and is responsible for executing assigned activities. The role involves analyzing, developing, and deploying the GPI SAP solution in close interaction with EU Business Process Enablers and Local Referents, contributing to the platform's evolution to meet new requirements in line with the IT strategy. This position can be based in Spain or Poland.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out the rollout of the GPI US SAP system in the Controlling and Finance area across the EMEA region.
2. Building in-depth process knowledge and supporting current business and operational processes such as Product Costing Controlling, Variance Analysis, Sales & Profitability Controlling (CO-PA), Project System Controlling, Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, SL), Operational and Group Reporting, and Integration with SAP S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN).
3. Demonstrating knowledge of key touchpoints and integration with SAP modules like MM, SD, PP.
4. Serving as a liaison between business and IT departments to ensure smooth communication.
5. Collaborating with internal US/EMEA IT teams and external partners.
6. Participating in S/4HANA migration post ECC rollout.
7. Managing application maintenance, support, troubleshooting, modifications, and training.
8. Involvement in projects and reporting to the Program Lead.
The candidate will be a key element in the SAP EMEA Centre of Excellence, requiring skills such as:
1. Facilitating requirement negotiations among stakeholders.
2. Business Process Modelling (BPMN, Process Diagrams).
3. Supporting system design, data migration, and detailed specifications.
4. Supporting data cleansing and uploads.
5. Interacting with stakeholders, including consulting firms and SAP.
6. Defining test approaches, organizing, executing, and validating testing phases.
The role demands delivering solutions on time and within budget, driving change, and ensuring stakeholder alignment. Effective communication, issue resolution, and business needs synthesis are essential.
Main tasks include:
1. Designing, improving, and guarding the Global Solution.
2. Consolidating knowledge of current and best practices.
3. Contributing to solution design with local business teams.
4. Developing SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
5. Organizing and supporting testing activities with proper documentation.
6. Supporting data migration and go-live activities, including post go-live support.
7. Contributing to roll-out strategy and roadmap.
Required skills & competencies include:
* 7+ years in SAP CO and 5+ years in SAP FI, with experience in large international IT transformation programs.
* Strong SAP design and customization skills, preferably in Printing/Packaging or Consumer Products industries.
* Solid understanding of Financials business processes.
* Knowledge of EDIs, LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancement techniques.
* Experience with WinShuttle is highly valued.
* Basic understanding of ABAP and debugging skills.
* Knowledge of S/4HANA in relevant areas.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and IS tools.
Educational background:
* Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Scientific disciplines, or Economics (4-5 years).
* Fluent English mandatory; additional European languages (French, Spanish, Dutch, German) are a plus.
