We are looking for an International Key Account Manager DACH for one of our clients, a Spanish company currently undergoing strong international expansion.
This role is focused on managing and growing a key account in the DACH region within a retail / mass market environment, acting as the main point of contact between the customer, international HQ teams and internal stakeholders.
We are especially interested in candidates with solid experience managing large retail accounts in consumer goods, FMCG, modern trade or similar high volume environments. Experience in consumer electronics is a plus, but not mandatory.
Location & Conditions
- Location: Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona)
- Work model: Onsite
- Travel: frequent but moderate (approx. 3/4 days/month)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 a 16:30
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: around EUR 50,000 gross/year + bonus (depending on experience)
Role Mission
This is not a generalist sales role; we are looking for candidates with hands‑on experience managing large retail / mass‑market accounts in consumer goods or similar high‑volume environments.
Be the main commercial point of contact for a key retail customer in the DACH region, ensuring strong execution across account development, forecasting, promotions, availability, orders and internal coordination. The role requires a commercially driven and operationally strong profile, capable of managing the dynamics of large retail chains / mass market customers in a fast paced environment and building a close, professional and results oriented relationship with the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a key account in the DACH region, with a strong focus on large retail / mass market customers
- Act as the main point of contact between the customer, international HQ teams and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate orders, shipments, exports and day to day commercial operations
- Monitor account performance through commercial and operational KPIs
- Follow up on sell in / sell out, forecasting, promotions, stock availability and customer planning
- Ensure smooth execution of product launches, commercial plans and customer requests
- Prepare and deliver product and commercial presentations in German
- Participate in meetings with customers and international suppliers
- Coordinate internally with Sales, Logistics, Operations and other departments to ensure service excellence

Requisitos mínimos
- At least 3 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar account management role
- Proven experience managing large retail accounts, ideally in consumer goods, FMCG, modern trade, mass‑market retail or other high‑volume environments
- Strong background in commercial negotiation, account development and retail execution
- Experience working with commercial and operational KPIs, such as sell‑in / sell‑out, forecasting, stock availability, promotions or account performance
- Native or fluent German (mandatory)
- High level of English (spoken and written)
- Experience in export, retail or international distribution is a plus
- Well‑organised profile, results‑oriented, with strong operational coordination skills
- Availability to work onsite in Sant Quirze del Vallès
- Availability to travel periodically to Austria and Germany
- Valid work permit for Spain
