We are looking for a Building Technology Expert to be the architect of our next-generation building standards. You will be the bridge between engineering excellence and corporate strategy, overseeing facility technology across a global network of factories, warehouses and offices.
The Mission: Innovation, Standards & Sustainability
You will join a high-impact, international team during a critical stage of growth and redefinition. Your challenge is twofold: ensuring current facilities remain efficient and safe while designing the roadmap for a future-proof, carbon-neutral technical infrastructure.
Your main responsibilities:
* Technical Vision & Strategy: You lead the definition of global standards for critical systems (HVAC, fire protection, electrical) and their digitalization.
* The Consultative Bridge: You act as an internal consultant for international business units, translating complex technical requirements into scalable business solutions.
* International Stakeholder Management: You coordinate projects across Purchasing, IT and Facility Management globally, reporting to the headquarters in Germany.
* Digitalization & Efficiency: You drive the use of digital tools for facility monitoring, focusing on cost optimization and reducing the corporate carbon footprint.
* Expert Leadership: You act as a technical mentor, validating engineering concepts and ensuring providers meet the high-level quality standards of the group.
* Short-term Success: Within your first 6 months, you will have audited current standards and presented an execution plan for the technical harmonization of international sites.
What You Need to Shine
* Technical Mastery: Experience in building engineering, industrial facilities or Technical Facility Management.
* Engineering Background: A degree in Engineering (Industrial, Building, or Civil). You need to be able to discuss blueprints, fire protection regulations, and energy efficiency at a deep level.
* Systems Specialist: Solid experience with HVAC and fire protection systems. Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) software is highly valued.
* Global Mindset: Experience working in international environments and managing technical regulations across different regions.
* Global Communication: Excellent English skills for daily collaboration with teams and leads in Germany and worldwide.
