Role Mission:
You will be responsible for ensuring the robustness of the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) framework by participating in the design, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of key controls under SOX.
You will work cross-functionally with all business areas, contributing not only to compliance but also to the efficiency and maturity of the control environment. Key responsibilities include testing controls (SOX compliance), supporting audits, documenting processes, and identifying control deficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Documentation: Document and update process flows, narratives, and control matrices
* Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify control deficiencies and collaborate with process owners to develop remediation plans
* Testing & Monitoring: Perform design and operating effectiveness testing financial operational and IT controls, including SOX compliance and risk assessments
* Prepare reports for Management and Process Owners
* Follow up on remediation action plans with responsible teams
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors
* Drive initiatives to improve and simplify controls
* Promote a strong internal control culture across the organization
Requirements:
* Solid knowledge of:
Internal control frameworks (COSO)
Control testing (TOD / TOE)
* Experience: 3+ years in auditing, finance, or internal controls
* Fluent English, able to perform all work in English, including documentation, presentation, trainings and interaction with external auditors in English. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage with both senior leadership and operational teams.
* IT risk knowledge- big advantage
