We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Packaging Manager to support a factory start-up phase in Salas, Spain. This is a short-term contract role requiring strong operational expertise and the ability to guide and support on-site teams during a critical ramp-up period.
Key Responsibilities:~ Provide hands-on leadership and technical support across packaging operations~ Guide and support the local supervisor and team in running packaging lines efficiently~ Oversee and optimise the operation of:~4 case packers~7 flow packers~1 cup filler~2 palletisers~ Ensure smooth coordination of staff and machinery during the start-up phase~ Troubleshoot operational issues and implement practical solutions quickly~ Support process organisation, workflow efficiency, and team capability building
Requirements:Proven experience in packaging operations within a manufacturing or FMCG environmentStrong hands-on knowledge of packaging machinery and line managementExperience working in start-up or scale-up factory environments is highly desirableAbility to lead, coach, and support supervisors and operational xqysrnh teamsBasic Spanish language skills requiredMust be available on-site in Salas, Spain for the duration of the contract
