Our client, a Polish leading manufacturer of high-quality natural cosmetics with over 30 years of experience and a presence in over 60 countries, known for its innovation and dynamic growth in the skincare sector, is expanding. We are pleased to be looking for a National Sales Manager on their behalf, to drive strategic sales initiatives and further strengthen their market position in Spain.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Business Development, their responsibilities will include:
1. Developing sales of company brands in the Spanish market across both traditional (offline) and modern (retail and e-commerce) channels.
2. Introducing new cosmetic brands to major drugstore, pharmacy, and supermarket chains.
3. Building and maintaining relationships with key buyers and distribution partners.
4. Creating and implementing market entry and sales strategies tailored to local specifics and consumer expectations.
5. Negotiating commercial terms with networks and local partners.
6. Collaborating with marketing and trade marketing teams to plan and execute sales support activities (promotions, displays, POS campaigns).
7. Monitoring sales performance, analyzing market data, and reporting to headquarters.
8. Working closely with distributors and/or developing a local distribution model.
9. Building and managing a local sales team.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of five years' experience in the cosmetics industry within the Spain market, including several years in a sales management role.
2. Proven success in introducing cosmetic brands (preferably foreign) to retail and parapharmacy chains in Spain.
3. Excellent knowledge of the cosmetics market in Spain, including drugstore and dermocosmetic products.
4. Extensive network of contacts among buyers and decision-makers at major retail chains.
5. Understanding of local regulations related to cosmetics registration and sales.
6. Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
7. High level of self-reliance, initiative, and goal-oriented mindset.
8. Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
9. Experience working for international cosmetics or distribution companies.
10. Knowledge of e-commerce and collaboration with local platforms.
11. Ability to create local sales budgets and forecasts.
12. Willingness to represent the brand at local industry events (trade shows and conferences).
13. Home-based position in Spain.
