Responsibilities:
• Manage and procure technical equipment for production (Capex, MRO, etc.)
• Responsible for all procurement processes and project tasks in project procurement, including supplier pre-selection, cost analysis, and contract negotiations
• Develop and implement global category and supplier strategies
• Conduct market analysis, choose suppliers, and manage risks
• Carry out actions to decrease expenses and engage in discussions with suppliers to establish framework agreements.
• Lead supplier onboarding and phase-out processes
• Regularly report on projects, cost savings, and cost avoidance
Qualifications:
• Degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical technician, or relevant professional experience in technical purchasing or materials management
• Professional experience in machinery and services procurement is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with business partners, suppliers, and service providers
• Intercultural competence and excellent stakeholder management
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Fluent in English
