These services will seamlessly integrate with Trimble Cloud core platform services and offer transportation platform APIs for a range of transportation products and applications. As we establish new teams and develop new platform services, our forward-thinking approach aims to build a robust foundation for Trimble's transportation products. We offer a dynamic environment that encourages exploration and innovation with next-gen technologies to address the evolving needs of the industry.This role will be part of one of the platform services taking full ownership of the service development and maintenance.What You Will Do :
Contribute to the architecture, design and development of a strong foundation of one of the platform services for domain specific products that are scalable, performant, and flexible to accommodate new consumer requirements.Be creative and innovative to identify and apply solutions to the problem space and SDLCTake comprehensive responsibility for the service, overseeing its development, testing, deployment, operations and maintenanceFollow best practices and ensure code coverage, CI / CD and meet security compliance requirementsBe an excellent team player building strong relationships within the team and with cross-functional teams, following best practices for collaboration. Working with globally distributed teamsEssential Skills & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field2+ years of experience developing backend services with Java, Spring, Spring boot using maven / gradleExperience in writing clean code ensuring quality with code coverageKnowledge about cloud agnostic and cloud native servicesBasic devops knowledge with CI / CDGood analytical knowledge and decision making skills.Innovative mind-set and eager to learn and contribute using next gen technologiesProfessional skills in communicating in English working with International teamsExperience with event-driven architectureLanguages :
