Overview

ROTOR Bike Components is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager. The role is responsible for the development, execution and continuous improvement of customer relationships across business lines, coordinating with the customer service departments. The position oversees planning and reporting to Sales leadership and aims to optimize service procedures from storage to shipping.

Responsibilities
* Lead the commercial processing team and the logistics team.
* Manage the daily commercial operations, including order processing, supply, invoicing, shipping, accounts receivable control, storage, and retail sales.
* Develop strategies to optimize revenue and the best use of stock relative to demand.
* Manage the budget for commercial operations and transportation, including major costs, operating costs and other costs related to product supply.
* Determine staffing needs based on workload to cover company needs.
* Monitor customer satisfaction and service levels to ensure standards are met and keep operating costs under control.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to improve performance across all aspects of comercial operations.
* Develop and implement new operating methods for commercial facilities to increase efficiency and productivity.
* Evaluate new technologies that could improve operations or commercial processes.
Functions
* Generate sales forecast for offer/demand.
* Daily company status report at day end.
* Configure customers in ERP, credit reservations and maintain forecast figures aligned with objectives.
* Maintain ERP prices up to date and ensure margins are calculated correctly or recalculated in advance.
* Ensure consistency of orders recorded in systems and their shipment.
* Control payments and debt collection.
* Control warehouse inventory and perpetual counting.
* Oversee product preparation and items awaiting shipment.
* Prepare reports balancing supply demand against what is supplied.
* Monitor statistics across channels.
* Coordinate customs clearance and taxes on Rotor’s behalf to manage customs processes.
* Provide ERP as a key user support to Sales, subsidiaries and head office as first point of contact.
* Identify and implement, with IT, tools to achieve business objectives.
* Open, track and maintain negotiations with freight forwarders and carriers according to Rotor Group consolidated needs.
Requirements
* Education:
bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law or similar.
* Experience in sales through traditional, digital, telemarketing, web, chat and ecommerce channels.
* Legal knowledge of international trade and customs procedures.
* Expert ERP/CRM user.
* Expert SAP experience (ideally By Design). Familiarity with daily transactions as well as invoicing-related ones.
* Very high Excel proficiency.
* Knowledge of back-end of major marketplaces.
* Tech-savvy;
passionate about onlinecommerce via social networks, web stores and marketplaces.
* Office 365, SharePoint and Teams Planner knowledge.
* Experience in team management.
* Advanced English.
Nice to have
* Knowledge of German, French or other languages.
* Experience with Magento and Wordpress back-ends.
* Experience in the industrial sector.
* Immediate availability.
* Residence near the Henares corridor.
* Own transportation to access the workplace.
