Overview
Globachem is seeking a Business Developer Innovations for South Europe to help grow our footprint in Southern Europe by launching innovative crop protection products.
Responsibilities
* Commercialize Globachem's own developed innovative crop protection products in the different South‑European countries.
* Provide market insights, map competition and competing products.
* Build a strong technical basis and transform technical knowledge into compelling use recommendations to support quick and convincing market adoption.
* Lead pre‑launch initiatives and support distributors to ensure successful product introductions through demo trials, technical training and presentations.
* Maintain strong network of distributors, CROs, advisors and industry influencers in at least Spain and Italy and build such a network in other South‑European countries.
* Coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, compatibility and sales requirements.
* Represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums.
* Select distribution partners and set pricing with the responsible sales manager.
* Work closely with Sales & Marketing, R&D, Product Development, Regulatory and Supply Chain departments.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Degree in Agronomy, Bio‑engineering or related field.
* At least 7 years of commercial experience in crop protection and experience launching new products.
* Fluent in Spanish or Italian (native level) and English; other languages a plus.
* Based in South Europe (Spain or Italy) with flexibility to travel frequently to other South‑European countries or to the headquarters in Belgium.
* Strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
* Strategic and commercial approach in managing projects.
* Hands‑on self‑starter driven by innovation.
* Teamplayer with a growth mindset.
