About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Opera Consultant to join our team and support the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing management of Oracle Opera PMS solutions for hospitality clients across Spain and Europe. The idóneo candidate will bring strong functional knowledge of Opera modules, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support Oracle Opera (Opera Cloud or Opera PMS 5.x) implementations, upgrades, and configuration projects.
Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional system designs.
Provide expert advice on best practices for PMS configuration, workflows, integrations, and operational optimisation.
Deliver end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with Oracle support teams, and implement enhancements.
Support interface configurations with third-party hospitality systems (POS, CRM, channel managers, payment gateways, CRS, etc.).
Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
Essential Skills & Experience
3+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Opera PMS (Opera Cloud or Opera 5).
Strong functional knowledge across core modules (Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, Cashiering, Rates, Profiles, OXI/IFC interfaces).
Proven involvement in multiple end-to-end implementations or major upgrade projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).
Good working proficiency in English.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with hotel operations in a managerial or supervisory role.
Technical knowledge of API integrations, OXI, Opera Web Services, or related Oracle modules.
Experience working with distributed, multicultural teams.
Any Oracle Hospitality certifications.
