Are you interested in regulatory affairs, the chemical industry and European legislation? Would you like to join an international consortium and contribute to the implementation of key EU regulations such as REACH and CLP?

The Inorganic Pigments Consortium (IPC) is looking for a Technical Assistant to join its team in Castellón, Spain.

About IPC

The Inorganic Pigments Consortium (IPC) was established on 10 July 2008 as a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG). Based in Castellón, IPC brings together 25 member companies, including the main manufacturers and importers of complex inorganic pigments in the European Union.

IPC supports its members in meeting their obligations under the EU REACH and CLP Regulations and acts as a key interface with EU institutions, regulatory authorities and external experts.

Your role

As Technical Assistant, you will support IPC’s technical and regulatory activities, helping to ensure the smooth coordination of projects, expert groups and communications with member companies, consultants and authorities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and interested in developing a career in regulatory affairs within an international and specialised environment.

Key responsibilities
* Support the coordination of IPC activities related to REACH and CLP
* Assist in the preparation and follow‑up of technical and regulatory documentation
* Help organize meetings, draft minutes and prepare presentations and background documents
* Support communication with member companies on technical and regulatory matters
* Assist in monitoring ongoing projects, studies and action plans
* Liaise with external consultants, laboratories and other stakeholders when needed
* Provide general technical and administrative support to the consortium’s activities
Profile
* A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology or a related field
* Interest in EU chemicals legislation, especially REACH and CLP
* Previous experience in a technical, regulatory or administrative support role is an asset
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a structured way
* Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
* Good command of standard IT and office tools
* Proactive and service‑oriented
* Willing to learn and grow professionally
* Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
* Able to work independently and responsibly
* Comfortable in a multicultural and international environment
* Open to occasional travel in Europe, if required
* Be part of a specialised European industry consortium
* Work at the intersection of science, regulation and industry
* Develop valuable experience in regulatory affairs
* Join an international network of companies and experts
* Contribute to relevant technical and regulatory projects at EU level
