Overview
MIMO Biosciences is a spin-off from CIMA (Center for Applied Medicine Research) of the University of Navarra (Spain). MIMO provides highly scientific CRO services to pharmaceutical companies based on its unique animal models developed over the last 10 years of research by Dr Martínez Climent's team at CIMA. MIMO operates with models licensed from CIMA and is currently undertaking a very ambitious investment project to have its own proprietary models. MIMO is a leader in the field of onco-haematological diseases, mainly multiple myeloma and lymphoma. MIMO is headquartered in Pamplona, Spain and our state-of-the-art animal facilities are located there as well. Our team of seven highly qualified professionals, most of them PhDs and postdocs, are at the top of their respective fields. MIMO will move from CIMA facilities to a new and dedicated building during the first quarter of 2025. MIMO's business plan includes a Series A round to ensure proper implementation and the recruitment of talent to secure it. A new Series B round is under consideration.

Academic background
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Genetics or similar).
Required experience
Experience of 5 years, preferably at BD department of a scientific company (pharmaceutical, CRO, CDMO, medical device or similar).
Areas of responsibility
* Identifying the company's main potential clients by studying their portfolio, business strategy, mechanism of action of their compounds, outsourcing strategy, key managers in charge, etc.
* Contacting the clients through a scientific/academic approach, mostly during specialized events.
* Preparation of the RFP/RFQ responses (with the help of the company managers) to the client. Negotiation of terms.
* Follow-up of every project from a budgetary and project-management point of view.
Other skills
* English (C level)
* Presentation skills and software utilization (eg PowerPoint or similar)
* CRM experience
* Ability to build and maintain a strong network
