CLP IT Platforms enable underwriters to create, price, and manage the lifecycle of quotes for corporate life group risk clients globally.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CLP Platforms Delivery Manager, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including developers, project managers, business analysts, and QA testers—to ensure successful change execution. In an agile environment, you will lead the growth and enhancement of CLP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, developers, and QA specialists to ensure reliable, scalable CLP platforms aligned with business objectives.
- Continuously improve delivery performance and provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Lead the implementation of IT initiatives utilizing React, .NET, MS SQL, Azure DevOps, and REST APIs to develop robust solutions.
- Assess customer needs, issues, and business drivers, recommending processes and improvements to enhance CLP Platforms.
- Support stakeholder relationships across the organization to achieve engagement and provide technical leadership in design and development.
- Ensure IT requirements are addressed in projects and delivery of assigned work streams is successful.
- Collaborate with business units on disaster recovery capability, testing, communication, and restoration of services during major outages.
- Manage service delivery for CLP Platforms according to SLAs and address gaps with the business.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Manage internal and external suppliers as required in the delivery of CLP Platforms.
- Support development and maintenance of the CLP Platforms technology roadmap.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, providing assistance and support for audits where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 or more years of experience in application design and development, with extensive knowledge of platform architecture, development, and deployment.
- Practical experience implementing and managing programs and projects with ongoing operational support.
- Experience utilizing .NET technology in delivering IT programs and projects.
- Experience with legacy platform migrations.
- Experience using Agile methodology to lead and deliver IT programs.
