Position:
Data Monitor in Health Field - Rare Anemias Disorders Research LineThe University Hospital Vall d'Hebron is highly specialized in rare diseases, participating as a full member of 20 of the 24 European Reference Networks (ERN).
Led by Dr. Mañú Pereira, our research focuses on developing innovative methods for characterizing patients with rare anemia disorders, enabling personalized medicine. We are also leading projects on European patient registries for rare hematological diseases, promoting data interoperability standards.
We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Monitor to ensure the accuracy and integrity of health-related data, supporting our mission to provide high-quality healthcare information.
Job Responsibilities
Design surveys and maintain contact lists of disease experts.
Develop communication strategies for survey distribution and engagement.
Improve data collection and management processes.
Identify discrepancies or anomalies in data and coordinate resolution.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and statisticians to analyze and report data insights.
QualificationsRequired
University degree in biosciences (e.G., Biology, Pharmacy).
English proficiency (B2 level).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Desired
Knowledge of data management software (e.G., REDCap).
Experience with scientific literature review.
Knowledge of healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).
Italian or French language skills.
