Our comprehensive slate of consulting and sales execution services includes delivering naming and venue entitlement positions, jersey sponsorships, premier events partnerships, emerging entertainment platforms, universities, mixed‑use real estate developments and more.

The newly created European Football department focuses on premium football opportunities in the market, leveraging the LGP expertise to develop and grow this new revenue unit for the company.

About The Role
The Global Partnerships Manager – European Football will conceptualize, develop, and secure key corporate partnerships with companies looking to invest in football.

This position will report to the Vice President of European Football Partnerships, and it will be located within Legends Iberia offices in Madrid, Spain.

This individual will have a proven track record in building successful partnerships and a natural grind to become a key player in the success of the department. She/He must already have an established reputation and track record of sport sponsorship sales’ success gained – ideally in the world of football.

Key Responsibilities

Drive commercial outreach by securing sales meetings through relationships and cold outreach, presenting Legends’ football portfolio, and developing integrated, solution‑driven partnership packages.

Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business prospects and identify partnership opportunities with premium football rightsholders.

Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers across sports properties, brands, and agencies.

Understand client and agency marketing objectives to position football partnerships as effective solutions.

Collaborate closely with the Legends Global Partnerships team and align initiatives with the VP of European Football Partnerships to optimise sales efficiency and drive growth.

Research and target industries/organizations for partnership opportunities.

Use Salesforce to manage prospect data, track interactions, and automate follow‑ups.

Work with the strategy team to apply data‑driven insights, identify trends, and refine targeting.

Negotiate and close deals, partnering with legal teams through contract execution.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.

Proven experience in the sports & entertainment industry with a strong solution‑selling background.

Established book of business and existing relationships with senior marketing executives, key agencies, and corporate sponsors.

Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and negotiate creative, integrated partnership solutions.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills; known for professionalism and poise with all stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with a track record of building trust and peer‑level relationships.

Success in pitching, negotiating, and closing high‑value partnership deals.

Able to articulate the value of partnerships vs. pure media and create innovative proposals that meet partner needs.

High energy, competitive drive, and ability to thrive in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.

Team‑oriented, collaborative, and committed to excellence.

Business‑level English; additional languages are a plus.

Willingness to travel.
